Description:
Learn a fabulous original Meleya Leff choreography from Alexandrian Atef Hassan.
Meleya Leff is an Egyptian folklore dance in which the woman carries an opaque black
meleya, which is sort of like a veil, only heavier. This dance is characterized by a playful
mood, sassy attitude and flirting. Learn traditional Meleya steps in this charming
choreography.
Atef has been a folklore dancer in Egypt all his life and continues to teach, choreograph
and perform dance here in the US.
