MeaHuna Productions is bringing Tempest, the “Gothmutha”, to Washington, DC, on April 11th! She’ll be teaching two workshops on finding your inner voice and developing a strong stage presence. I can personally attest to Tempest's unique and insightful approach to being not only a performer but also an artist on stage. I'm really looking forward to learning her approaches to bringing art to life through dance... if you're a performing dancer, particularly if you're blending theater into your dance, you don't want to miss this!

Tempest is the woman who made gothic bellydance a worldwide phenomenon. She developed the original Gothic Bellydance Resource online, and she is an inspiration for myriad dancers around the world (including myself).

Workshops will be followed by a ritual dance dedication by Tempest celebrating friend, dancer, and artist Kaihea at the Palace of Wonders.

Both workshops will be held at Saffron Dance in Arlington, Virginia.
